What to do if I can't connect to eduroam?
- If you have any network connection already, we recommend that you visit this site to use the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool. If you're on an Apple device, visit the link with Safari so that the download will succeed. It guides you through the best steps for getting connected. Pay close attention to them because accessing a profile the way it's described may be something you've not done in the past.
- When prompted for username and password, be sure to enter your official UAH email address (ChargerID@uah.edu) and Charger password to connect to eduroam.
- Make sure that your encryption method is set to PEAP, rather than LEAP. These options are available in a drop-down menu when you are entering your username and password.
If any of these steps are not helpful, try forgetting the network eduroam from your device's network menu, then restart your device and start from the beginning.

To forget a wireless network on your iPhone or iPad:
- From the home screen, choose Settings.
- In the settings menu, choose Wi-Fi.
- Locate the Wi-Fi network to be removed and click the blue symbol next to the name. If the option to forget the network is available, tap Forget this Network
Why do I keep seeing prompts to trust security certificates?
The Office of Information Technology must replace a security certificate within the eduroam service from time to time. Anyone who had already indicated that they trust the security certificate before it's replaced will be prompted again due to the change (but not again until the certificate changes). To solve this problem, visit eduroam.uah.edu to set up eduroam.
