Event Wi-Fi Access

If you are planning an event on campus and need Wi-Fi access for attendees who are not currently UAH students, staff, or faculty, please request this service and be sure to provide the following information:

  • If this event includes interaction with children, will anyone other than the child's parent/guardian be responsible for care, custody, or control for the duration of the event?
    ** If so, see https://www.uah.edu/compliance/child-protection-policy for more information.
  • Event name
  • Event location
  • Date/Time/Duration of the event
    ** Both start and end times are needed
  • Number of attendees
  • Requestor name, dept., and contact information
  • Passphrase preference
    ** Needs to be 8 characters or more. Note that this isn't applicable if another event is already scheduled for that day.
  • Who is the UAH full-time employee/sponsor that will attend the entire event

When network (Wi-Fi) access has been provisioned as requested, it will be in accordance with established Office of Information Technology policies. It is the responsibility of the requestor to ensure they are in compliance with any university policies which may govern events on campus.
