Overview

In compliance with UAH’s Digital Accessibility policy, all procured digital tools (websites, software, and apps) must undergo an accessibility review. If the vendor does not provide an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), the requesting department/unit must perform manual accessibility testing before the implementation.

Process

If you have been notified that manual accessibility testing is required, please use the following process to complete the testing and report your results to the Office of Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Step 1: Download the manual accessibility testing form template from the Attachments section of this page.

  • Step 2: Complete the testing using the template. A testing guide is available in the Attachment section.

  • Step 3: Once manual testing is complete, email the completed form to Kathy Thompson (kmt0021@uah.edu).

  • Step 4: The results will be reviewed to determine if an Equally Effective Alternative Access Plan (EEAAP) is required. If it is required, the contract requester and project manager will be notified.
