ScreenPal (formerly Screencast-o-Matic) allows faculty and staff to become videographers. Trained users can create and upload videos for use in Canvas and on the web in support of student success. Whether you’re a staff member who supports or a faculty member who teaches, every student served by every program or office can benefit from the ability to generate instructional and promotional video within their own ranks. ScreenPal has many new features and is expanding its library of free art, music, and video clips by the day.
ScreenPal requires only a computer (laptop or desktop) with a webcam and microphone to create high quality video for delivery online, in a flipped or hybrid course model, or in worst case scenarios, for academic continuity during a weather disaster or instructor emergency.
Access to ScreenPal comes at no cost to the individual or department. The ScreenPal platform serves both Windows and PC and integrates well with Canvas and Panopto.
ScreenPal orientations are available by appointment (for individuals or teams) at your convenience!
