Resolution

CrowdStrike is configured to block an application from running on a computer if it's not considered safe.

If you encounter any problems with this and/or wish to request a change to CrowdStrike so that your application is trusted, please contact the OIT Help Desk and provide details regarding the full name of the application you are trying to use and why it should be considered safe. Please also provide us with a screenshot of the pop-up message and the hostname of your computer (otherwise known as the computer name or system name). Learn how to find your computer's hostname.

Environment

Windows and Mac computers configured on the UAH Active Directory. Currently, the notification shown above is not available for Linux boxes. That feature will be enabled when it becomes available.
