How do I change my UAH Directory information?

Overview

UAH constituents may visit the UAH Directory to look up contact information for UAH faculty and staff. This online directory is powered by Google Contacts.

Members of the public may visit www.uah.edu to find the best contact information for a person or department. These pages are maintained by each department and/or the Office of Marketing & Communications. 

Update UAH Directory

To update your name pronunciation, profile picture, or pronouns, or to set a nickname different from the preferred name on your employee record, visit aboutme.google.com.

Organization info is pulled from your employee record. This includes Job title, Department, Location/office, Email alias, and Work phone.

Job title and department information for new employees and employees transferring positions may take several days to propagate to Google. If your job title or department is inaccurate and you are not a new or recently-transferred employee, please contact Human Resources for corrections.

To update your office location or work phone, or to update the preferred name on your employee record, you may submit an automated request to Human Resources:

1. Log into oitportal.uah.edu with your ChargerID and password
2. Select the Directory tab
3. Fill in the fields of the information you want changed
4. Select Submit request to Human Resources

To update your email alias, please submit an automated request to OIT:

1. Log into oitportal.uah.edu with your ChargerID and password
2. Select the My Email tab
3. Fill in the provided field with your preferred email alias and select Check Availabilty
4. If the email alias is available, select Request Change

Update Faculty/Staff Listing on uah.edu
