Resolution

Currently, UAH students do not have access to YouTube. Read below for alternative solutions for browsing YouTube.

Browse While Signed-Out

While you are unable to sign in to YouTube with your UAH account, you can still browse YouTube signed-out by visiting youtube.com.

You can also browse YouTube while signed-out in the YouTube app. Learn how to browse YouTube signed-out.

Use a Personal Google Account

If you're already signed in to a personal account in your web browser, YouTube may automatically select your personal account as the account to browse YouTube with.

You can follow the steps below to add your personal account to your browser:

  1. Visit myaccount.google.com
  2. Click your profile icon near the top right of the window
  3. Click Add another account
  4. Sign in to your personal Google account

If YouTube does not automatically select your personal account for browsing, you may try the following steps in a web browser:

  1. Visit myaccount.google.com
  2. Use the profile icon near the top right of the window to confirm you are signed in to your personal account or switch to your personal account
  3. Open the App Launcher menu (9 dots arranged in a grid) near the top right of the window and select YouTube from the list of Google apps.
  4. When YouTube opens, your personal account should be signed in.
