Solid Edge is only compatible with Windows devices. Users with devices running macOS, ChromeOS, or another operating system may consider utilizing a computer lab on campus or checking out a Windows laptop from the Salmon Library User Services Desk. An alternative to Solid Edge is the CAD platform Autodesk Fusion 360. This software is free for eligible educators and students and is available on Mac, PC, and Chromebook. Learn more about Autodesk Fusion for education.
