Getting Started for Guests

Welcome to the University of Alabama in Huntsville!

During your visit at UAH, you have access to the UAH Wi-Fi network.

1. Connect to UAH Internet

UAH offers a guest Wi-Fi network which provides access to the UAH network for one week. Learn how to access UAH Wi-Fi as a guest

Visiting from another institution? Check whether your institution uses eduroam. If so, you can use your institution credentials to access the eduroam Wi-Fi network here at UAH.

2. Long-Term Guests

Are you a long-term guest who will need UAH network access for more than one week? If so, contact the OIT Help Desk to get started with a guest account. We’ll need confirmation from your sponsor in order to begin the process.

If you’ll need access to UAH’s wired network, you will need your sponsor to submit a NARF request form at narf.uah.edu.

Get to know the UAH Information Technology policies and procedures.
