  1. Click the Start menu
  2. Search for “PCInfoGrabber” and select the app from the list of results
  3. Your PCInfoGrabber report will open in a browser window
  4. The Dell Ship Date and OIT End of Support date will be listed in your Basic Data

Dell Service Tag Lookup Tool

Enter your Dell Service Tag(s) in the Dell Service Tag Lookup tool at pclookup.uah.edu to find out the age and support status of your device(s).

Dell Support Site

Visit the Dell Support website and look for the section titled Identify your product or search support. Search for your service tag to view its Product Support page. Select Review Services to see the Ship Date of your device.

Apple/Mac Devices

Visit checkcoverage.apple.com and enter your Apple device’s serial number to view information about your device including the Purchase Date.

Microsoft/Surface Devices

Visit account.microsoft.com/devices and select a device to see its warranty details. If your device isn't listed, select Register device to add it to your account. You'll see the coverage dates after you do this. If the warranty has expired, it is likely that your computer should be replaced.
