Google AI Suite (Gemini & NotebookLM)

Overview

Google Gemini and NotebookLM are provided as Core Services for UAH employees (as of March 2, 2026). This suite allows users to leverage large language models within a "walled garden" that protects UAH data and intellectual property.

• Google Gemini: A versatile AI assistant for drafting communications, brainstorming lesson plans, and streamlining administrative workflows.

• NotebookLM: A research-focused AI tool that allows you to "ground" the assistant in your own documents (PDFs, transcripts, notes) for high-accuracy synthesis and citations.

Features and Benefits

• Data Protection: Unlike public AI, your prompts are not used to train global models.

• Authentication: Fully integrated with UAH Single Sign-On (SSO).

• Citations: NotebookLM provides direct anchors to your uploaded source material to reduce hallucinations.

Requirements

• Must be a current UAH Faculty or Staff.

• Active UAH ChargerID and password.

• Compliance with UAH Protection of Data Policy (06.01.01).

• Must be a current UAH Faculty or Staff (not available to Students as of March 2026).
