Several software products are available for current UAH students and employees via Chargerware. You will need to log into the website with a @uah.edu account in order to access software. If you need assistance using Chargerware, please request this service.
Overview
OIT facilitates online software distribution and, for certain software, distribution via media. Software packages include antivirus, desktop backup, and office applications. Access Chargerware at http://chargerware.uah.edu/.

Need more?
- To purchase Microsoft software products not listed here for University-owned computers, faculty and staff should contact our reseller, Softchoice. Lincy Varghese is our point of contact there. Her email address is Lincy.Varghese@softchoice.com. Please provide her with a product title, description, and, if possible, the manufacturing SKU.
- To purchase other software not listed in Chargerware (such as Adobe Cloud), faculty and staff members should contact UAH Procurement. UAH does not currently have a campus-wide software offering for Adobe software or subscriptions.
Getting Started
Log into Chargerware
- Chargerware is located at http://chargerware.uah.edu/.
- When you attempt to download files, you will be prompted to login; be sure to sign in with your G Suite credentials (your official UAH email address and password). If you encounter problems, please call 256-824-3333 or email helpdesk@uah.edu.
Download Software from Chargerware
- Click on the software you would like to download.
- Descriptions, hardware requirements, and installation notes will display for your convenience.
- Follow the steps to download the file(s).
Obtain Product Keys from Chargerware
Selected software packages require a product key. When this is required, you will see an option to download a file containing that information.
