How to Access New Employee Training

Introduction

New employees may be required to complete training modules in UAH's online training portal. This may include FERPA training, Driver Safety training, or other training courses. As of October 2023, new employee training is hosted through United Educators.

Steps for New UAH Employees

To get started with your new employee training, please follow the steps below.

Please note: new employee training only updates user accounts once a week on Thursdays. Please try logging in on the Friday following your start date.

If you need to complete your training sooner, complete the Alternate Steps below. Student workers should also use the Alternate Steps below to access training.

1. Navigate to the New Employee Training Portal
   1. To get to this link from myUAH, first locate the Employee Show More card
   2. Click Show more
   3. Click Human Resources
   4. Click New Employee Training
2. If prompted to sign in, sign in with your Charger ID (don't include the @uah.edu) and password then verify your identity with Duo
3. Click to enroll in your training courses

Alternate Steps

If you need to complete your new employee training sooner than the Friday following your start date or if you are a student worker, please follow the steps below to create a new account.

1. Navigate to the training registration page at https://learn.ue.org/RD3V6098956/UAHAll
2. Enter your first name and last name
3. In the Email/Username field, enter your email alias (firstname.lastname@uah.edu)
   • Not sure what your alias email is? Visit the OITPortal. After logging in, check the My Email tab. Your alias will be listed below.
4. In optional field 1, enter your Employee ID (A-number)
5. Click Register
6. You'll receive a welcome email with your username and temporary password. Use this password to log in at https://learn.ue.org/RD3V6098956/UAHAll
7. You will be prompted to enter your temporary password, create a new password, then create and answer a security question
8. After changing your password, log in using the new password at https://learn.ue.org/RD3V6098956/UAHAll

Steps for UAH Contractors & Affiliates

If you are a contractor or other affiliate of UAH and don't have an @uah.edu email address, please send a request to the Office of Risk Management and Compliance at riskmanagement@uah.edu using your contractor/affiliate email address. Requests should be made by supervisors and should include the name(s) and email address(es) of the person(s) needing access to the training.
