How to Install Zoom

UAH-Owned Computers

If you are using a UAH-owned Windows computer that is registered on the campus Active Directory, download Zoom from the Software Center app. Mac users can install Zoom from Jamf Self-Service.

Personal Computers

If you are using a personal computer, the Zoom web browser client will download automatically when you start or join your first Zoom meeting. It is also available for manual download at https://zoom.us/download

Zoom Pro

Faculty members, graduate teaching assistants, and staff members are eligible to upgrade their Basic Zoom accounts to a Zoom Pro account. Learn how to upgrade your Zoom account.

"Instructor's email is invalid" Error in Canvas

If you are trying to Launch Zoom from inside Canvas and you see a warning that says, “The instructor’s email is invalid” (Error Code 2216), please note that you must complete the steps in the attached Quick Start Guide to establish your Zoom account with SSO before you can use Zoom from inside Canvas.
