What is Google Workspace?

Overview

Google Workspace for Education, formerly known as G Suite for Education, is a collection of collaboration tools and web applications created by Google. UAH utilizes Google Workspace to provide students, faculty, and staff with access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and more. 

Please note that all students, faculty, and staff are required to enable Google 2-Step Verification to access Google Workspace. Learn how to set up Google 2-Step Verification on your UAH account.

How Do I See All the Google Products I Have Access To?

To browse the applications linked to your Google Workspace account, log in with your ChargerID@uah.edu email address at mail.uah.edu and click the Google Apps icon (9 dots in a square) near the top right of your screen next to your profile picture.

You can use this menu to navigate between Google Apps quickly and easily.

How Do I Get Help With Google Workspace Apps?

Google offers thorough documentation on all of their Workspace applications. Visit Google Help to get started searching for answers to your Workspace questions.
